Description

Please note the following changes regarding Neighborhood Economics:

we have decided to restructure the event. We want to ensure that we're able to have robust conversations around this topic, and we thought this would be easier to do through a series of conversations over the coming months.

The rough schedule for conversations is as follows:
- An Introduction to Neighborhood Economics: Bringing National Success to San Francisco (Friday, June 8 at 4:30 pm)
- Connecting Local Capital (later in June, TBD)
- Real Estate as a Foundation for Local Entrepreneurship (July, TBD)
- Entrepreneur Networks (August, TBD)
- Anchor Institutions, Community, and Civic Engagement (September, TBD)

Bringing National Success to San Francisco

Four nationally recognized Neighborhood Economics practitioners will connect the dots about how they created ecosystems to support entrepreneurship for marginalized communities in Detroit, Boston, Cincinnati, and Jackson, MS. Come hear their successes and an exciting announcement about what’s next in networking local entrepreneurship at the San Francisco Impact Hub.

We hope you are able to join us for the panel and the happy hour that will follow at 6:00 p.m. There is no need to sign up. Just come to the Hub at 4:30 p.m. if you are interested.
